Blue
Blue is the sapphire that shines from mum's ring.
Blue is the lapislazuli that comes from Beijing
Blue are the smurfs that live in the fridge
Blue is the sky that covers the bridge
Blue is the sea that salty and wet
Blue is the blue bell that I gave the vet
I love blue because It is a calming colour

Hi Lachlan, what a great poem! You have used some awesome comparisons to help me picture the different shades of blue. I particularly like our blue skies as it makes me think, "summer is on its way!" My question would be... Why do you have Smurfs living in your fridge?!
