Winter
WALT: Write a poem about winter using strong verbs.
Winter
Winter is the time of year when changes start to happen.
It’s frosty, snow appears, you snuggle in bed until you're warm.
Tuck the covers over your head, sip on a nice hot chocolate in bed .
When you go outside you slip and turn.
Create and throw frozen snowballs, and make snow angels.

How to make a new friend
WALT: How to write an explanation.
Room 8 have learnt the structure of an explanation and have been practising writing explanations in class. We wrote about how to make a new friend and then turned it into a presentation to put onto our individual blogs. I turned my explanation into an animation.
